When I go to a Prince concert or listen to them, I don't want to hear ANY PRINCE at all.

I'm not saying they're all good, I've heard a few duff covers but the majority are pretty damn fantastic.

I hope that Prince does a DVD or something with these covers. It can't be too hard to throw a bunch of live covers onto tape 4 us.

I want Prince to only release his music as highly compressed mp3s. No CDs. CDs suck. DVDs suck too. Vault stuff really sucks. Especially box-sets of Vault material. Icky.

I got to say I am with the op, sarcasm or not, I love the covers that Prince has been playing,. I really feel as if Prince has been going through my music collection and playing some of my favorites live..

I used to long for the live Prince song, but hearing him cover songs that I would never in 1 million years think he would cover is kinda awesome!

I got to say that I personally get this feeling as if some of the music that he digs moves him in the same way his music moves me and he digs it for the same reasons why I fell in love this his music in the first place.

I know, I am a loser, but to hear him cover bands I hold highly like the Foo's, Jimmy Eat World, Cee Lo (Gnarls etc) and those bands/artist cover him as well make me wonder if there is really some sort of higher plane.

I want to hear new Prince live not old Prince live. If I cannot have that I will take the covers with his personality poured over them LIVE!

Oh and forget the internet, entirely! No one wants to be able to have access to your wonderful world of music from a computer, from the comfort and security of their own homes. Especially your UK fans! Make them get on a plane, book a hotel and then have to sit for 14+ hours just to get a ticket to see you! You're Prince, damn it! They better recognize!
