I want to know what was happening when it shows in the trailer, Prince running, with some sheets or somethng behind him on some outside stage contraption. He is dressed in the Lake Minetonka scene clothes. | |

all this is getting me  I really thought that the release of the special edition of Purple Rain would have had the deleted scenes, and I was highly upset when I found that it was just the movie and the trailers on the dvd.I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |

The movie kept alot of the stuff from the original script but, the way they later edit the movie made it seem different. It's too many deleted/alternate scenes 2 talk about on here. Yet, we're all sitting here hoping and demanding 4 them 2 be officially released. I think the movie would have be even greater than what it is now if those deleted scenes were in the movie. | |

i have a bootleg of the Purple Rain workprint,and tho it does have some brief deleted scenes,the fight,the barn scene or any others in the trailer aren't included. Plus the quality is shit |
