Imposter 'Black Album'

Hey...
A friend of mine just bought what he thought was an old bootleg of the 'Black Album' When he got it home, he opened it and found a sticker that says 'I own the Black Album.'
He put it in the cd player and to his surprise found out that it had different instrumentation and some guy who sounds like The Bronski Beat's Jimmy Summerville doing his best Prince impersonation. The company that produced it is called RTP and the company that put it out is TNT Enterprises.
Does anyone know what this is?

Pochacco

When the Black Album bootlegs first started appearing back in 87/88,there were rumors that a group of session muscians were hired and they re-recorded the album with a guest vocalist/Prince sound-a-like and it was being marketed at The Black Album

Dont know whether they were true or not tho?

Much love yes Pochacco

lickerdipper

This was a very common rip-off among sellers around '89-'90. Many, many stores had this as an ORIGINAL "Black Album" ... the vinyl was yellow. It's a French band ... that's all I know. I never bought it
