Well, it is a step in the right direction. I like the font they used for his name and all that purple...it´s nice to see him going back to purple again.Nice to see some majestic, royal vibe going on there plus a little bit of a futuristic/ science fiction fantasy flavor.

The only things I don´t like are the face because it´s incomplete and just having the lower half of it on the cover looks a bit strange ,and the "3" in Lotusflow3r is still a bit irritating, but hey,it DOES look nice and not as cheesy as most of his covers did in the last decade.They should have put something else in that crystal ball, maybe a silhouette of him playing the guitar, or just his guitar but, all in all, it looks nice compared to the late 90s covers.

with the 3 in the title does this mean all 3 albums will be included in this like how the truth and Kamasutra came with Crystal Ball?

I think it's a beautiful cover. Unfortunately, I think some people think it's just hip to complain. Either that, or being critical makes them feel superior. I'm not directing my opinion at any particular individual (I respect all my fellow Orgers), but it just seems to me that before Prince can even release something there's an entire mob of folks that have already trashed it. How hard is it to just enjoy something for what it is?

Either way, even though it isn't SOTT or LoveSexy, it's a billion times better than Musicology or the hot corset mess that was Planet Earth.

New Power Soul among the worst.

So I guess the obvious thing is the crystal ball. This is going to be his Crystal Ball of the new millenium. He's had enough practice and trial and error to get it right this time.

It's MYSTICAL LOOKING. I like it. It's like his face is in a PERFUME BOTTLE or he's a GENIE In A BOTTLE. CUTE!
