The CD in the 21 Nights Book is Jamming! I think the arrangements of alot of the songs are Jamming!
And funny snippets from Prince!!!! Like when Prince tells Hornz to help Josh, the bass player, during Girls and Boys! 
During the song Prince says just Bass, nothing but bass, then Prince says, "help him"; the Hornz fall right in bustin the same notes...Funky Funky Funky!    |

I hear ya, but the quality is really good, and the selection and sequencing R fantastic, despite complaints that he could have picked this instead, etc. It captures the feel of ONE aftershow perfectly, so therefore, I am saying that there is a cohesive, seamless quality, that WORKS, and works well. I'll call him out when he does something I don't like, but he nailed it with this compilation. I don't even look at the glossy, overdone book. Just play the damn CD. In terms of pics, I would have preferred some off the cuff, raw, on the way 2 the gig type of stuff. But the CD is JAMMIN. "He's a musician's musician..." |
