(the court session in) "I HATE U" - his best 90'ies moment?

Up there with the glorifying lady cab-driver "backseat-situation" (This is 4 the cab U have 2 drive 4 no money at all...) and the uniqueness of INTERNATIONAL LOVER ("I anticipate a few turbulence along the way"...)

agree?

I think the core Prince songs on Graffiti Bridge would technically be his best "90s" moments (Question Of U, Joy In Repetition, Thieves In The Temple, Still Would Stand All Time).

The I Hate U moment is definitely in the top ten 90s moments though.

cool

Maybe I have missed something about, "Lady Cab Driver," and should listen 2 it tonight 2 refresh my memory, but what makes U think they are in the backseat? I don't remember that.

And out of many of moments in 10 years of music...U are asking us to choose a fragment of a song?

In what way? The emotion that we think really reached through the record player and tackled out heart's 2 the ground?
Help me out here.... cool

God in heaven no! That's one of the cheesiest things he's ever recorded. "I Hate U" was a middling song at best... it never should have been the first single for "Gold Experience".

Best 90s moment... hmmm... I'd have to think about it... but not some faux-courtroom thing that sounds like it was written by a middle school student.

Love this song Especially the extended single version.
much better then Lady Cab Driver in my humble opinion,
and speaking of humble ,Prince seems to move from "Eye Hate U" to "Eye love you,But Eye Don't Trust You Anymore"
See how time changes us .

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Imago

the best moment was when Prince joined a bunch of other singers on stage for a "We Are the World reprise".
Quincy Jones, standing beside him, handed Prince the microphone. Instead of singing into it, Prince backs away , takes the lolipop he had in his mouth, and points it to Quincy.

falloff

Totally agree on this. I tend to listen to the flutestramental long version because of the cringe factor of the spoken part. No where in the league with “Lady Cab Driver"

In the 90's he totally fucked up song ideas that could have been great with his cornball cheesy antics.

Agree, agree, agree. Too cheesy and cringeworthy!

Best 90's moment for me was The Beautiful Experience video and the release of TMBGITW
No child is bad from the beginning. They only imitate their atmosphere.
