I will keep saying it though; I'm really hoping that the article in question really was bullshit and the publication in question will publish an apology and Prince will, very quickly, make an official comment that he isn't that narrow minded. Whether he said the things or not, I'm getting very depressed at the amount of fans here who can't see just what damage his comments have caused. damn. it's not like he's killed anyone or something nobody has heard before! sthis is prince! come on! he doesn't hate gays, he never said that. he just doesn't believe in gay 'marriage' as per the doctrine he feels compelled to follow dictates, and he's not alone. lots of non-jw folk don't.

frankly many think it's ridiculous. here in the uk it's been renamed 'civil partnerships', and that's cool and all, but it can be argued it's not true marriage as the bible and the vast majority of folk who don't follow any particularly strict religion see it.

it could be worse, he could have converted to something that would rather see gay folks put to the sword, and expressed that bullshit. not naming religions, but you know!
