Prince and the Revolution

Prince's first band was called the Revolution.

Revolution means: open fighting against authority (according to the dictionary)

What kind of revolution do you think Prince started or was trying to start with his music?

What kind of change was he going for and do you think he was sucessful with it?

well thankfully on september 9, 1986 the revolution ended and the new power generation took effect with the 1st spoken line on lovesexy headbang
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
