Princes worst album

4 me its TRC. i just cant relate 2 it, the only 2 songs i like on it r TRC and last december

I know what you mean about TRC, I don't listen to that CD much either. But there are a couple of songs on there that I like, such as "She Loves Me 4 Me". I fell in love with that song the first time I heard it.

New Power Soul. I know it's not supposed to be a "Prince" album, but it really is.


I also don't like his firs album, For You.
And don't care for Diamonds & Pearls, though it has 3 really good tracks on it.

For You...face it...it blows...but not as much as New Power Soul Blows. Jeesh....could SOMEBODY have let him know this? I mean, people tell me when my breath stinks, or if I need some deoderant. The album that I reach for LEAST is probably Dirty Mind.

Too dirty raunchy. Songs lik Sister, and Head... nahhh... true, it's classic Prince, but this is the album that really is out of place in his repertoire!

i tend to ignore rave altogether (spent 75 bones on the remix album, for no reason ). i wouldn't call it his "worst" though. there are always at least a few decent songs on all of his albums and reasons to pull them out every once in a while .

For You most certainly does not 'blow'. Worst Prince album is either Graffiti Bridge or Batman... they marked a real low point creatively and took the momentum out of his career after PR, ATWIAD, Parade, SOTT and Lovesexy... if he had remained true to himself (bold statement I know) instead of chasing audiences/sales/ego he wouldn't have had to come up with D&P and could have come up with the much earlier... a much 'truer' Prince album. This would/could have led to an earlier Gold Experience... or a version thereof... may have meant Prince maintaining the high profile he created in the 80s. The two albums mentioned killed Prince's career stone dead.
