21 Nights book....lack of sales in Ireland

Spoke to a guy in leading book retailer here.....not ONE copy sold in their biggest breanch....there were 10 on the shelf 2 weeks ago and they are still there!!! expect the price to be slashed soon !!!!

get it quick for 26euro in Zavi aka Virgin or pay 46euro in Easons, it fuckin big/heavy and rocks also great fookin value 26 yo yos!!!!!

Well I work in Eason's and we have the book, but even with staff discount it was cheaper from Amazon and I got it from them nearly 1 week before the shop got it!! We haven't sold any in our shop either!! Proper Prince fans prob had it on order from Amazon from the moment it was mentioned online. biggrin

Well i am an irish prince fan and yes i bought mine on Amazon, the prices they're charging in the bookshops is ridiculous, but thats rip off Ireland for ya!!And i dont think the croke park fiasco is helping with book sales here either!

It's just down to price. I saw it in Hughes & Hughes for a shade over 40 Euro.
Amazon delivered mine for about 21 Euro.

Me too, got mine from Amazon, then I bought another 2 for my friends who are also Prince fans, but they knew nothing about the book - I dont think many know about it - unless you are a regular visitor to one of these Prince websites....

Why am I surprised to hear that Irish stores are charging double the price than what you can buy it for online? SOOOOO Typical. This country annoys me!
