Why Are You A Prince Fan?

I'm not asking how you became a Prince fan, but WHY Prince rather than another musician?

Me: I can identify with and love the intellectual nature of his songs, he's interesting and uniqe. The music is superb and genuine.

What about you?

i like him because whatever you are feeling there is a song that will go with it!

i find him really inspiring and believe sometimes he has a lot to say!

First of all I love most of the songs he made.

Two, he's so talented and few artists today made so many great songs

and because he knows how to talk to women.

I'm going to think about my response, "It's too morning quiz," at the moment because I just got up...I've re-read my morning posts before and they are usually a mess.

I've thought about it.

I guess it must be magnetic bread-crumbism. With every song that Prince laid down on a record became a door to wonder. Prince's heart within the music has been and continues to be an emotional exploration of a beautiful soul inside of a creative musician.
The world is filled with great music from great musicians and singers, it's just that beyond the: Prince is really cute factor, He's, "steel," and I'm, "stick."

His muzik... talent... style... showmanship.

For the majority of my life... I have been entertained.

why? it's unexplainable really....but I'll try.
he captivates me on every level.
His music moves me...
He is physically beautiful..
His voice is from heaven..
His mind is extraordinary...
He is amazing....
that's the best I can do.

I am a Prince fan because I think that he is the best all around entertainer out there today, and he's smart and extremely handsome.

Takes me 2 much 2 xplain.

i'm not a fan...prince really hates that word...i am his back bone....because that's why i was born for...yes it could of been anyone else but there is a special reason that only God knows why...all i know is i have prince's back in everthing...i'm a...strong...silent..powerful type...a projection of his dark side....thou i will do as he says because i'm now used to a powerful man as well...no physical importance nor material interest...i guess it lies in the spiritual sphere...i'm just glad that he is soo beautiful and beloved by all...thou misinterpeted....but i always knew prince would find the path...never doubted for a sec...thank God for prince rogers nelson....and his mama too....love u ma....mzsexybaby

Isn't it ashame that some of these people in here know more about Prince than their own God Himself? As a matter of fact, they know more things and facts about Prince then their own selves sometimes.... Weird..... and sad

the musicianship

the lyrics were things i could relate 2 or helped me out at a particular times in my life

the spirtuality has brung me closer 2 God

and the brother hangs with some of the finest women ..except that dog called mani

Prince has a certain spice in his music that's just right for my taste buds

mmm, why do we like what we like? that is a more complicated question than it seems I guess in my case first I liked the diversity of sound of his music then the boldness and expression of lyrics, and finally his personality... all about that it makes him THE ONE

For me,it was his looks first,because when I was 10,and just hearing him for the first time through the Purple Rain movie,it was all about his looks,and if I like the sound of the song,I was to young to even think about them having a deeper meaning,and their were songs of his that i wasn't allowed to listen to. Now,I am a admirer of his music,because I can now see that the songs do have a deeper meaning. That he has a very creative way of taking simple words,and linking them together into a story that makes you have to think beyond the music. Some of his songs are thought provoking, some make your heart melt,and some just make you wanna get up,and shake what your mamma gave ya. He is so many types of artist in one man,and he is brillant at it.

It's real simple. I was made to be a Prince fan the same way one is baptized into the Christian faith.

i think that is a hard one to answer. some one played when doves cry to me and that is when the intense relationship started didnt know what prince looked like who even who he was. to me he is like a old lover and a new one at the same time u just get hooked simple as!

I guess for the same reasons I'm a fan of other music my Mum got me into when I was very young.

Powerful, moving music. Lively and fun, catchy as hell.

And talent.

i respect his creativity more than anything..talent is one thing, but he's jellytot hot in all aspects of his career..thts why he's phenomenal

Because once upon a time...there was a man named Prince who without question was the coolest, sexiest, most ingenious musical MF on the planet!

Aww well, if Alzheimer's ever sets in, heaven forbid!!!

I've left instructions in my Living Will for my family to spare no expense in reminding me of that Prince and that Prince only!

To me Prince represents success, freedom, joy,and creativity.

All are goals I hope to achieve someday.

He is a role model and I have looked up to him,

even though we are the same height-

(I think LOL) for always keeping the public guessing .

His music is so powerful and passionate.

He inspires hope, romance and funk

Very talented, lyricst, musician, singer and writes songs with a deeper meaning plus hes covered more ground musically (styles etc) than any1 else

I love him because his work has inspired me, and brought joy to me like no other artist's work has.

Why am I a Prince fan? I remember tellin' a friend of mine that the day I do not get chills 2 Prince's music anymore is the day I stop listening 2 his music. P's concerts r what keep me a fan. Meeting P @ his Club 3121 in Las Vegas is what keeps me a fan. I married a Prince Fan. P's music touches me in a way that no other artist has done.

His music gives me chills ...
