Does Prince wear a wig? so many celebs seem to have all of a sudden got full heads of hair...

Personally, I think that if Prince did have a need for fake hair (I don't think he does) he'd not get a wig. A wig is too dangerous for all the moving on stage he does--it is not secure enough. These days you can buy wigs that even allow to go for a swim. However, I believe the first part of your observation is probably what most celebrities would opt for. ( I mean plugs instead of a wig). Some celebrities have plugs because they have quite a lot of donor hair and their scalp has no problems with the plugs, and then there are other celebrities who rather wear a wig or a hairpiece than have plugs, for whatever reasons ( like John Travolta ) . Don´t know if Prince´s hair is real or not or if he has plugs ( which, technically , would still be his real hair) or whether he´s simply got incredibly good hair. Judging from what I´ve seen during live shows, the man has got some really strong and healthy hair despite being fifty,despite straightening it for three decades,and despite having a bald father. And I like the fact that he often jokes about his hair and mentions his love for it in various songs ( Prettyman, I Like It There, and a couple of other songs). His hair did in fact look a bit thinner ten years ago so he must have done something , maybe used Rogaine or Propecia or got plugs but,even if that´s the case, the result is still fantastic ( and if so , absolutely okay for someone who´s in showbiz or someone who can afford getting the best treatment possible). His hair is one huge aspect of his look and image, very much like his clothes and overall stage persona, and I don´t understand why it is such a taboo subject here on the org. Much props to Prince for having such great hair.  | |

Echo that. He may not have always chemically treated his hair either...I think he sometimes just flat ironed. LOL p.s. theres a diff btwn genetic baldness and just plain ol hair loss which can come and go at any time. the real question is, would Prince ever do a Michael Jordan/George Foreman? I think its really quite obvious he's wearing something up there.Some people will even say that it hasnt started graying yet. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
