Also, could be a reference to the biblical Sarah?

That's an upside down and backwards song like the rest... you can read practically anything into that song....Though I've only read the lyrics....He can add a lot to the words with his voice and music....and that just changes things again.....only he knows....like a rubics cube with no answer.

Prince is a song writer...he can write about anything. I can write a poem out suicide, death, love, broken heart or the love of my life....It doesn't always have to be real.

I'm not saying this song isn't but he could have been working on a song and then heard the name Sarah or someone named Sarah that worked at Paisley Park walked in the room and there it is...nothing to it.
