Party at Prince's 2night

Exclusive! Party At Prince's 2nite

This just in to www.drfunkenberry.com

Prince’s party tonight is in honor of the return of his favorite and VERY first Linn Drum Machine. It was lost but now is found. Apparently, it’s going to be mounted outside near resting against a large symbol.

21 copies just arrived of the NEW photo essay book by Randee St. Nicholas. Members of Prince’s band are getting their copies tonight. There will be a jam session afterwards.

More news tomorrow….

I say that's a sign right there that we will be getting new music. Why would he be honoring the return of his first linn drum if he was'nt going to be using it for new music?

ok, i'm happy that P has found a piece of history, and it may well deserve a celebration, but am i the only one who can no longer get enthusiastic hearing about parties and performances that WE ain't invited 2, and don't even, in this technology society, get 2 see any footage or streaming !?

Sounds like fun...It's morning here now, on the East Coast...and in spirit, I am over there enjoying the music...Those guys are probably still up and going...sweet dreams to them, when they finally kiss their pillows... cool

as much as we all love Linn, isn't it a step backwards to wheel it out again?. I know the next CD may well be P.Rain inspired or indeed a remaster etc but lets just hope that Linn is stuffed, mounted and left alone now as a great memeory.
We need new ideas & challenges P, the past is err well...past.

don't see any reason to get upset, it's his, life, his party etc. Does he have to include us in every last thing he does?. It's always nice to know what he's up to but I don't feel the need for an invite!.

Dude's using the Linn Drum Machine again to get attention? He did this before releasing Rave Unto if you remember & we all know what a heaping pile that was... I'll stick to seeing him live & not get hyped for anything studio.
