If a long wait means a great album, I'm all for that!

Planet Earth might as well have been released a million years ago for all the impact it had on me.

The Truth was dated 1997. Both the Love4oneanother mail order version of Crystal Ball and the first cassette release of Karmasutra are dated 1997 and Rave In2 the Joy Fantastic is dated 2000, even though it wasn't shipped out until April 2001.

'Exodus' is dated 1994 but came out in 1995.

'The gold experience' was due to be published in June 1994, that's why every song except for 'Shhh' (1993) was copyrighted 1994.

I always consider 1983 and 2005 the only years that Prince ever took a break from preparing an official album for release.

it´s fine for me

Dont get me wrong, I love his music, but I´d rather wait one year more for a kick ass album. Like Elton John (?) said, he never used to let us miss him.

Rave In2 came out April 2000, it was only 6 months after Rave Un2 not 18 months

It was a long time between Musicology and 3121 too, almost 3 years.Prince has been around for a long time, he doesn't have to rush a thing. Long time fans have learned to wait.

no.

Musicology = 2004
3121 = 2006

It was completed by then, but it first shipped out as part of our $100 NPG Music Club membership, remember? The club was opened in February of 2001.

In part of 1983 Prince was doing the Triple Threat tour and the other half began fliming Purple Rain. So he was a busy guy in 83'.

Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Yeah, like suing harmless fan sites and terrifying fans into thinking they'll get banned for speaking their minds about him.

TIME WELL SPENT!

Suing fan sites? Where were the papers to show that they were ever sued? I know I never saw any papers. Did you or anyone else see any legal papers? Last I saw, we're still talking about Prince fearlessly. I'm just saying though...

He threatened it at the very least. Most of the picture gallery is gone and we all know the rules about videos.

Last week I spoke to a fam on here who wouldn't even share her "I Met Prince" story in fear of getting into trouble with his people.

1983 shouldn't count since the majority of promotion, sales and the tour for 1999 took place then.
