he's my favourite solo artist yes, i cant name any of my other favourites which cover nearly as much ground as him.

Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

Prince is the baddest single individual 2 EVER pick up an instrument and start making music.....and I don't say that lightly.

My favourite musician will always be prince as he is unique beyond unique.there isnt an artist that sounds like him or releases masterpieces like planet earth,the gold experience,or purple rain.there will only be one prince.

At the moment he is my favorite musician. The scope of his work is so immense that I don't think I'll ever tire of listening to him.

Prince is my favorite man...but as far as a musician...It's a toss up between him and Tony Orlando.

Without a doubt. I can't even listen to another musician without comparing them in some way to Prince. I know that sounds strange but most of the time I listen for similarities.

Yes — and there's a wiiiiide gap between him and second place.

I hate to say this after been a "fan" for 30 years...he WAS my #1.
Now it's The Time/Morris, Kanye, Sade, EWF, and Frankie Beverly and Maze...in that order.

I have too many important things to worry about than making Prince #1 in my life anymore.
