AMAZON.COM ORDER???

Has any one else got a message from Amazon.com saying
the Prince book has been delayed?
They have sent me 2 notices about this and want me to "ok" the
wait ???

just wondering if anyone else is seeing this???

They sent me a email saying the price is going up from $31.50 to $36.50, so I canceled my pre-order. It's just the principle you know, I'm tired of the bullshit and the books not even out yet.

yeah i got the same email. my delivery time has been delayed to october 10th or something. my price has stayed the same. sorry dayclear

I just got the same email. I approved the first one, now this one is being pushed back to 10-10 thru 10-14. I hope at least he's adding something to it.

I didn't get a price increase notice,just a later shipping date.I'll just b ecstatic when and if I get it! It'z gone from early September 2 late September.

Wow, it's a good thing that I clicked on this thread, because I didn't get an email from Amazon, asking me to okay the later shipping date. Luckily, I was able to go into my Amazon account and click on the okay button there. Whew! I would hate not to get this, because I do still want it.

My order details haven't changed and amazon.CO.UK still lists the release date as 9 Sept 2008. My order says delivery estimate sept 4th -sept 10th.

So maybe the UK release is earlier.

Mine now says I should get it by October 16th at the latest.

I noticed there was a disclaimer that warned this product may have further delays. They should have a disclaimer that says "release date reflected by authors mood."

Luckily the price is still $31.50. I'll just have to continue to be patient.

The truth is, they probably expected more preorders. They didn't get as much, so now they're postponing the release, hoping to get more before doing the actual printing. Another royal letdown from Prince's camp.

Yes, Prince owns the publishing company that is putting out the book so he must be responsible. Jesus get a grip on reality dude does not own the publishing company and my guess is he got his advance and has no futher involvment other than promoting the book.

The american release has obviously been delayed. No one else has had any change in date. Syble has your order changed? No. Eireboy, has your order changed? No.
Rorywan has your order changed? No. And hmm all the people who are talking about delays are refering to dollars $$. What could it mean? I know the answer must be right in front of me, hmm. (sarcasm)
