The house in Purple Rain! I've been to Minniapolis a few times and always wanted to no where the house is located (The one they filmed Purple rain in) Has any1 been there or know where it is? I am the Dog Outside Yo Door,

But I have been told that some scenes, like the house where he lives with his parents was filmed in Los Angeles...the reason for the palm trees... I personally never saw a palm tree in Minnesota.  | |

The house that was used for outside scenes was indeed filmed in Minneapolis. Right across the street from a good friend of mine. If you really want to see it next time you're in Twin Town, it's between 34th and 35th streets on Snelling avenue south (Snelling is between Hiawatha and Minnehaha Aves.)
