why did prince and mayte split ?

why did they split up they always looked so in love . i thought they where perfect for each other

well you could read what has been said in magazines etc. but i think the only people who really know is..well prince and mayte.

prince was cheating with skinny broke girl from Canada who was an intern who seduced him at paisley park...word was that she gave good "HEAD" which made prince Wanna BE HER LOVER. he thought she was a HOT THING but she turned out to be a DARLING NIKKI!

Because Prince is a control freak douche bag & Mayte just wasn't having it.

AS FANS and nothing more we could only guess from interviews like an interview with mayte where she said the pressure from losing their child e.t.c caused a strain on there relationship so to help deal with it he pushed himself to music which she may not have liked ..or the common reason people use like they 'simply grew apart'. But like the others said who truly knows apart from Prince and mayte

Mayte was a child, only 16 years old when they met. I think she just grew up and developed a mind of her own and realized that Prince is not what she wanted in a man. Maybe she wasn't as easy to control after she got a little bit older and more mature. We all know how Prince likes to control every move of his arm-candy. Only very young, unexperienced women, or gold-diggers would accept that kind of treatment from a man.

A guy I knew worked as Security for Prince back in those days.
he said that after the baby was born Prince didn't want
Mayte to talk about it.. and if she would cry he would get

Then he started to hang with Larry G. and got kinda nuts with

It IS too bad.. cause they were a VERY cute couple and I

I hope some day Mayte can find some one special in her life
and have a child.... She is very sweet.
I talked to her a few times at Paisley park and she was nice
and down to earth!!

yes he DID do an interview... one that he boldly said the baby was
"FINE" and it was ALL good!!!
It was NOT all good.
It was almost like he thought he was ABOVE losing a child.
It can happen to ANY ONE.. even Prince.....
