Listening to Prince's Version of "Screams Of Passion"

OMFG, I loooove this version of this song, even more than The Family's version. It seems to be a rehearsal version, because you can hear Prince giving instructions to his band members. giggle But I looooove the keyboards in this version, OMFG!!!!! cloud9 I could have this song on repeat for awhile. giggle
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

i like the version of high fashion with paul peterson, he should have sang underneath on the album, hell he should have fronted the family and shared vocals with paul while playing some guitar.

The version I found on my computer must be what you're talking about. I agree with you. I love this version even more than the released version. I only wish it was clearer sounding.

Have you ever heard Prince's version of Desire? I adore it!!! His voice sounds so sweet and pure in it.

nod I wish "Screams of Passion" was a little clearer too. I can hear some hissing noise in the background, and my version cuts off for a couple of seconds at 6:17. That being said, I also love this version more than the one that was released. Prince's vocals in this song. mushy

I do have Prince's version of "Desire" too. Another good track. smile

yeah, he really wasted some top-notch material ont "The Family"

not "wasted" exactly, but... you know what i mean.

High Fasion, Mutiny, Screams Of Passion, Nothing Compares, and especially Desire.
