Great album.

Damn it! That's it! Tomorrow, I'm marching myself down to Best Buy and getting this album!

I have 5 copies of Musicology. They gave it out (I should say that I paid for a copy) during the tour, and I went to 3 shows. Somehow, I ended up with 2 other copies, probably from other people that went with me to the shows.
I can not explain how pleased I was with the album. I just wrote on another thread how there was a string of albums that I did not care for; Emancipation, Chaos and Disorder, New Power Soul, and Rainbow Children. I was content with enjoying the old stuff and the unreleased stuff that my friend hooked me up with. I was so shocked when I first heard Musicology and it was so amazing. And then Prince followed it up with 3121 which was pretty good itself.
On the Couch is my favorite from the disc.

I never used to like Musicology, when I first got it I was like but now, thats a different story!

It's a good idea to listen to it with a good sound system too. The first time I played it was on my laptop -- wasn't as good as the bose sound.

My favorite song on the CD is What Do U Want Me 2 Do.

i can't say that i have one , probably why the album isn't my favorite . i have the same problem with rave un2 the joy fantastic. there are good songs on both albums, but nothing really outstanding or that i'm particularly for .

It was the last concert I saw him do, so it holds a special place in my heart!

Me too! I wish I could relive 2004 for a moment. It was one of the best years to be a Prince fan and the album, while it's not in my Top 10, it has a special place for me with the friends I made and the fun I had during this time.
