The one from Dear Michaelangelo? Pink Cashmere is fucking ace. It makes me wonder the decision making process of leaving tracks like this unreleased for so long and releasing other tracks that most would agree were 'inferior'.

This solo is fantastic, but what's always intrigued me in the interplay between the strings and the guitar. Prince and Clare Fisher never met, so one of them had to play something and send it to the other.

i like the solo in 'The Question of U'.. i think i like the live versions better and i also liked the live guitar solo of him playing 'Purple Rain' on the Syracuse live tape.. when he 1st appeared in that song, i liked that solo in the beginning.... Prince's live version of 'Love' acoustic version is hot too..

I wonder if Prince composed the solo around Fisher's strings, or vice versa? No matter what, I do love this song. I think it would be evident that he composed the guitar solo after hearing the recording of the strings. If I'm wrong I don't give a fuck. Like you said, it's simply fantastic. The interaction is what first caught my attention as well. may u live 2 see the dawn

But it's just incredible to think Fisher could arrange the strings in such a way without hearing a guitar solo. I wonder if Fisher arranged strings for the whole thing, and Prince edited it.
