If we hear nothing about Prince its "when's Prince gonna do somethin," "why hasn't prince done something..."

If we hear about something he's done like have a party, its "Prince is bragging," "how dare he...."

So, I'm sure we'd all like to get an invitation to one of his parties, I know I would...but I also know that I'm not invited to other parties....even those organized by people who live on my street....

Sorry, but I can't be mad at him for doing his thing, why shouldn't he?

pat We organised a street party the 23rd of August, with a jump cushion for the kids, lots of food and drinks and nice music.

I herewith invite you to this party. If you're in the neighbourhood you're more than welcome biggrin

And about this Prince party. If you have someone to make propaganda for these private parties, like this Dr. Funkenberry, that's all cool, Prince of course can do whatever he wants. BUT if you cancel a concert which 55.000 people were going to attend and they all have huge loss of transport/hotel costs (I'm not even talking about the disappointment) then the least you can do is give a short statement why this concert was cancelled. And that's really not unreasonable thinking.

Sounds like a blast (I love those jump things). Don't think I can get the itinerary together but thanks.

Yes, I very much understand the disappointment folks had/felt with the Dublin thing--as I understand it, many planned travel overseas (I even contemplated, myself). But I though Prince or someone provided an explanation of sorts? Did I misread?

Do you think Prince will appear there before the end of the year? Or maybe early of next year?

What I thought I read somewhere in here was a little statement from that stadium? That it wasn't Prince's fault. But what to do with that kind of statement. It would have been better if it said why it was cancelled. People only speculate and it gives a bad taste in their mouths. It's not something small like him going to some recordstore around the corner to sign a few cd's and not showing up.
But, who am I.

I don't know if he made the promise to come back in Europe to make up for Dublin. It would be nice of him to do but people will hesitate since they already lost a lot of money. Not everybody has enough money to make these trips again.
I'm still waiting for him to come to Paris, Bercy would be nice wink
