IF prince is bald

Im always reading that prince is secretly bald and has been wearing wigs for years (which would explain some of his dodgy hairdos). If he is infact secretly bald would you prefer he kept it a secret and caried on rocking the wigs or would you prefer him to come out of the closet and release the full dome into the public view. lol lol

He is and is free to wear his hair anyway he'd like too. Thanks for that freedom. wink

I don't care, just as long as he's looking fly, that's all there is to it. With that said, if he wears wigs, then it's time for homeboy to get a new one cause this style is getting old and tired. It's time for a longer do boo!!!!!
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Don´t really care whether he´s bald or not but , let´s put it this way, even if he is bald, his hairpiece looks great. And if he´s not bald, then he´s got incredibly good and strong hair for someone who´s been straightening his hair for more than three decades. Even with the best plugs and hairpieces, it´s not that easy to look the way he does.
This is kind of a taboo sunbject here, which is actually quite strange considering that his hair has always been an important factor of his persona. He mentions his hair in many songs and is just as wellknown for his hair as he is for his heels and outfits and trademark guitars. I think people should stop wishing for a return to a long hairdo. First of all, that long hair shit is so played out, and secondly, any man beyond 30 should be thankful if there´s still a lot of hair left to speak of, and going all natural without excessively processing your hair is the best way to go for any man but especially for any Afro-American man with naturally curly hair.

Ahh, gotta love those hair threads. They get locked as soon as they show up lol

funny thread, very suited for the org biggrin

I wouldn't want to see him all bold, I don't think that would look too cute on him.

But anyone can see that his hair is getting very thin on top and that his current "bad" hairdo is due to that thinness. By combing it up or to the back he covers it a little bit.
There are plenty of pics and O2 vids where you can see through his hair and it's a little bit strange to see. I'm not used to see Prince flaws lol

It would be so cool, if he wouldn't hide his real age and would show us his baldness (if so), grow a grey beard, wear no makeup, didn't use botox so that we could see all his wrinkles, ect., ect.....

Like prince said in the song 'pretty man': They just wanna see me swing this pretty hair
If there ever comes a time when it just won't grow
I'll keep it like my brother and buy some mo'
so it wouldn't be a shock to me if he did wear a wig.. but hey it's up 2 him..2 me its the music that matters

I don't think he's bald. I kinda like his hair better now than I have in the past. If he were bald, I would prefer to just not know about it. True, hair & clothes don't make the man but they sure move the fantasy along. But ultimately, I'm okay with whatever Prince wants to do with his hair, weave, wig or plugs. It's all love, baby!

Okay, this is something I don't understand...

Prince is rich beyond most of our imaginations. IF he lost his hair, it would make sense that he paid for whatever method gave him his hair back (wig, plugs, chemicals, drugs, whatever).

An entertainer's hair sometimes, many times, has a lot to do with their continued success. Therefore, with that much money at stake, it would be a good business move to "fix" the hair.

But my question is... Why are there so many supposedly rich stars that DON'T fix their hair. Sure, for some actors the bald look is their selling point. But other young actors that go bald could surely afford to have some work done. So why don't they?

Does anyone else here believe Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Bono and Chris Martin have all had their hair "fixed" somehow? Cruise and Pitt simply have too-perfect hair for their age and Bono and Martin's hairlines seemed to have reversed!

I was just going to say it: how could Prince be bald in the first place? Can't he afford hair transplants? confuse

This is a very timely topic/thread - just yesterday I heard on the BBC World Service's 'Culture Shock' program a report on the significance of hairstyles in African-American culture. They said that hair played an amazingly important role in that culture and often served as a means of expression for a people who had been denied 'a voice' for so long.
I don't remember it word-for-word but it was something along those lines.

If he' bald and he needed/wanted hair, I'd give him some of mine...I have enough to share.

biggrin biggrin biggrin

Seriously though, yes we love his looks and all, but if he was my friend I would focus more on his personality and the way he treated me... much more important cuz everyone's looks eventually fade.
