Erm, well it's well documented on how much he loves basketball - pictures of him at matches - conversion of the tennis courts to b'ball courts at his home - reference to Michael Jordan in Style - his basketball hoop on the Lovesexy stage - him shooting hoops in (I think) Daisychain video! I think you can say yes to that one!


And the motorcycle one! Do you really have to ask? Of course he does!


Although speaking of body doubles - on Purple Rain, after he does the 'Don't get my seat all wet!' bit - watch the last shot when the bike zooms off and you get a shot of a very Masculine shaped Appolonia!!!!!

That is such a drag body double!

According to Robert Cavallo and Albert Magnoli, Prince did his own riding in Purple Rain.

I went ATV riding with my hubby recently and he coached me by saying "You have to take the bumps like Prince did on his motorcycle in Purple Rain." Sure enough it worked...Thanks P

I'd say Prince really did play basketball and was most likely pretty good at it. I mean just because of his height,don't mean you aren't a good player..think about his body..very trim and cut,slight and maybe his height could be an advantage in some cases..playing very swift and quick. plus theres the schools team photos. Ive read articles where ppl who went to school with him said he was a good basketball player. I think his love for music was much deeper.
