Rave un2 or in2???

Hey, I have Rave un2 the Joy Fantastic, how does it compare to Rave In2, the remix of the album? Thanks

If you like Rave Un2, I'm sure you'll appreciate Rave In2. I probably prefer the remix if I had to choose but I hardly play either. In2 has Beautiful Strange which is the main attraction I suppose

Talking about the title track, I prefer the original, which is 'Rave Un2'.

But if I had 2 choose between the 2 albums, I'd say 'Rave In2'; it really sounds smarter and less heavy. The extended version of 'Prettyman' along with the inclusion of 'Beautiful strange' are worth the listen.

Could you imagine if Rave was a hit???? Hit CD, Video's, PPV Concert, Mtv awards, Remix CD ....

Back to reality...

Un2 sucked....P is my boy but man....

I picked up In2 at the celebration and that wasn't much better. I was in line inside the little store inside Paisley Park and I was just about to pay and there it was sitting on the counter. I saw it but I thought it was Un2 until I saw the eyes. So I grabbed it.

In2, definitely. Love the Tangerine solo, and the new beat/mix for Undisputed really takes it in a better direction.

Most folk slike the remix versions of the songs on Rave In2.

I personally don't like Rave In2 as much as Rave un2.

They're both not great albums, but I don't dislike them all that much. Rave Un2 , to me, was like Diamonds & Pearls, pt. 2, without all the over-the-top rap parts.

It just had this lackluster, almost melancholy feel throughout the album which was shame. It just sounded like he wasn't all into what he was doing back then.

I thought P didn't care about hit's and top of the charts?

i think p wanted rave to be what musicology eventually became.. tho musicology was a far superior album. Rave just sucked, i think his only bad cd.

My boy was in my ca the other day and I had Rave in there (I don't even know why) and he looked at it and said "This Cd isn't good, is it?" I said "No and why do you think that?" He said just by looking at the cover and the name he could tell.... Yup the album sucks. He couldn't believe Musicology and Cinnamon Girl....He grew up in MPLS but never really listned to Prince....
