What's the status of your book, sounds incredibly interesting.

It is still being worked on. As I've mentioned in other posts, my goal has always been to make this into an UPTOWN book, having worked very hard on all of their other projects, but I don't know if that is going to happen. If it doesn't, then once I am done, I'll probably put it out by myself. It would be great to make it an UPTOWN book simply because it is always great working with everyone on a project together, like we used to do.

thanx and you'll hear about it when it is complete. There will be some press behind it once it is done.

This sounds brilliant. Can't wait to read it!

I've only got a couple of copies of Uptown, but one of them has some of the documentation copied in it about the 1985/1987 sessions...fascinating reading...and mind boggling from a musical productivity point of view...I'd love to read your book too!

Reading the first quote you posted though it says 'did you ver feel that love was like...' rather than love

is this just a typo?

Is that during the Eric Leed's quote? That is exactly what he said during an interview so I didn't want to change it, since it was his recollection. I think that was from an interview done for UPTOWN a while ago by Per Nilsen (who has always had some amazing stuff to write about Prince).

Thanx for the props.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

Yes, i meant the Eric leed's quote...interesting! It'd be a great Lyric/title with either word!
