I really only collect just to collect, although 6 of my records were used in the display at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame:



The 45 sleeves for "Raspberry beret", "Kiss", "America", "Why you wanna treat me so bad" and "Purple rain" were mine and the 12" sleeve for "My name is Prince was also mine. I don't know who owned the 12" sleeve for "Partyman" although I have that one too.

The music I collected because I wanted to hear as much Prince as I possible could. The other stuff I kind of picked up along the way.

I have no real plans for it, but I can't see parting with it right now- not because it's Prince, but because I put so much time, energy & money into the collection process.
I once tracked down a couple at a record collectors' show & tried to buy the "Rolling Stone" with Prince & Vanity from them. They had bought it a few minutes before, but I had gone to the show looking for it. I offered them TWICE what they paid! They turned me down, but I eventually outbid someone on ebay. (It was still cheaper than what I offered those two! )

If this thread is still going strong by the weekend, I'll pull out my magazines and photograph them.

These threads always make me incredibly jealous and sad, so I'll just exit the thread now

Actually I did see your first response. I should have mentioned it in passing No problem, I am somewhat proud of both events. I love the "51 hours" song although most Prince fans don't like it.
