Purple - Guilty Pleasures...confess...to your hidden love of some of the Prince tracks that make you feel ashamed!

Yes we all have those Prince tracks that we feel ashamed about, will not play with anyone around, stop dancing or skip quickly because deep down we feel guilty about it! Say we hate it but always go back to it..just for one more play...but it's so uncool..so wrong..goes against everything you stand for and hate! eek eek sad sad

Well here's your chance to fess up and come out of the purple closet

i'll start the ball rolling
1)... Blue Light..corney reggae/jazz track...
2)....Starfish and Coffee..sing along..happy clapping..school chant..you just can't dance to

the shame of it.

Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! London 21 Nights...Clap your hands...you know the rest..
Mr.Brown RIP sir, your music still lives with us!

I've said this b4...I walked off the dance floor to P. Conrol, on New Years Eve a few years back...but I like it at home....nothing else embarasses me.

I could never take the place of your man. It's hard to blast that one with the windows when cruising the streets without looking flaming. Especially when you're singing along and say "Oh, honey baby, that's okay" boxed

Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

Seconded.

Oh, sweetie...don't bother. Someone who doesn't even know that that lyric is, "Oh, honey baby, that's a dead end" is beyond redemption anyway... disbelief

I honestly don't have any guilty pleasures when it comes to Prince. I like what I like and I don't like what I don't like - and I make no apologies for either. (I've sung "Sister" at the top of my lungs flying down the bike path, so... shrug )

There are songs, however, that I will turn down at a red light if my car windows are open. That has nothing to do with Prince and everything to do with being respectful of others' sensibilities. cool
