ET: Prince himself denies hip surgery rumor

Entertainment Tonight showed the new Prince video "Somewhere Here On Earth" and commented about the rumors of Prince's hip surgery. ET commented that Prince himself denied it 2 them.

To be fair though, Prince himself denying it doesn't prove much to me. Prince has denied many things in the past that were absolutely true. I'm not saying I definitely believe he's having hip surgery, but him denying it doesn't prove much either.

Oh right Prince doesn't lie or avoid statements. I do recall an Oprah show with Mayte BIG LIE there. I know that he wants to stay out of the tabloids, just do your thing and get on with it. He spends so much time with lawyers and dening stuff its a waste of time. People are alway curious about what is going on with the celebs, but if you just went about your business and did try to hide so much they wouldn't care as much. Curious MINDS WANT TO KNOW

whether Prince has surgery or not, it is evident that there is something going on. He is spending more time in flats.....IN PUBLIC. We know the damage that years of heels causes. He is definately not as comfortable in them anymore.

Osteoarthritis is caused by wear and tear on the joint. Certainly, Prince could be in that category, based on some of the videos I've seen. (landing in the splits after a high jump etc)
The recovery from hip replacement surgery can take up to 12 months with no twisting or pivoting until then.
He seems too agile, to need hip surgery, or to have had one.
Many times, the arthritis affects both hips and a 2nd hip surgery is needed.
He doesn't limp, has a normal gait. There aren't any physical reasons to suspect he needs hip replacement , nor had one....? Just sayin.

There are other, more minor procedures on the hip, to correct injuries. Hip replacement itself, is a big surgery. Orthopedic surgeons are using newer replacement parts, and different techniques, so recovery is faster. But still, it would seem Prince would be out of commission for awhile.

i think this forum has become too hypersensitive to discussing rumors. the fact of the matter is, ET (a nationally syndicated show) is covering the subject so it's silly for us to censor discussion on this site.

now, i don't moderate this forum so i am speaking as a regular participant of this website but i do hope the mods here consider how silly it is to delete any and all rumor threads...there's a responsible way to discuss stuff. it's not like anyone is trying to claim this sh*t as the truth...its labeled as a rumor and it includes prince's denial...

If U did moderate this forum, U would understand the joke! I had several threads/post deleted because like U said no one is claiming this sh*t as the truth we were just having a little fun( U know humor), but fun doesn't seem 2 be allowed in this forum!.....It's not us being too hypersensitive
