9/9 Met Prince,Sung with him & Danced On Stage!:) A few months ago I saw on the news that Prince is touring London walking in central London with 10 women behind him ofcourse,& so I got those tickets....You won't believe this but on 9/9 2007,I went to his concert & amazingly I got on stage & danced right infront of Prince for a few songs & had the limelight all on me for a whole song & also he gave me the mic & I sung a couple of verses!!!!!...I remember first getting into Prince back in '84 when my family got Purple Rain on VHS tape.Just hearing his voice,it's so beautiful & Prince definately spreads the word of love.(God is present in Prince's music). Prince is the nicest,Koolest person you can meet,you see,Prince is far ahead than most of the world,in that he knows that being nice,sweet,humble & meek,he shall inherit the earth like it says in the bible. I was wearing a Lime Green bandana,pinstripe shirt,black khakis & orange adidas.When I danced abit faster with more rhythm,Prince took me gently by my arm & I touched him gently too & he said give this brother some room!  (he's such a nice wonderful man)..then play that funky music came on & I sung a few verses with him & then all lights went on me while I danced the rest of the song alone on stage & then with Prince again,wow when you are actually up there on stage it feels so magical.Some people might freeze but I was like this ain't no thing to it,just be myself & it's all about confidence. Prince I think is the the most spiritual,sensual,magical,mystical,beautiful artist & his songs always lifted my moods through tough times like,I wish U heaven,dirty mind,I wanna be your lover,glam slam,1999,Anna Stesia,When 2 R in love,let's go crazy,Raspberry beret,7,life can be so nice,insatiable,mountains & all the new ones too!:)Prince is so funky that if he was a country,he would be the United Prince Of Funkadelica;) Prince's music spans from classic soul & funk,to 80s style pop,to rock,rap,r&b,e.t.c. He needs to be in the books with other geniuses like mozart,but mozart still has nothing on him:) God Bless you Prince & now I am 31,but will tell my grandchildren about 9/9 If we can't meet each other again in this life,I'll be one of your best friends in the afterworld we call heaven my brother:) Prince you must be an angel because your lyrics come from the soul & a higher place & your music words just can't explain:) I Love U 4Ever Prince!

Yes 100% more masculine than most....and I've seen more sh*t than most have seen hot dinners;)..man there is nothing touchy feely about meeting your favorite artist.....I'm sure you would even scream if you met your favorite too,you don't understand,when it comes to talking about Prince,one has to be sensitive & delicate,because Prince is a very nice guy & a true gentleman!:)He's not a fake macho rambo afraid to cry & show his feelings!!!! I think that's great Limebandana..I would love to go onstage for a song or two....But I don't think Prince could have pulled me onto the stage from the balcony seats I have had....However, I was once in the limelight with ten other girls and Maxi Priest...
I mustv'e stolen at least 22 seconds of the show. I guess I got lucky because Maxi Priest was playing a small club, and standing room only meant I had front row. I think that was a wonderful experience! And to think, I got all excited when he gave me a "high-five" at the Rio in Vegas!!!
But, I have a question: Why'd it take you five months to sign up and tell us this fantastic story! I would have been on here that night braggin'!

I remember last year during the 'impromptu' audience participation some girl was on stage with Prince and dancing with him at the tip of the stage. Well more like up it's length to be exact. Anyway, we all cringed. In fact I'd take a good guess that nearly the whole of the O2 cringed. She was worse than the Twins, grinding down to the floor and back up again. Like watching child actors, if you know what I mean.
Anyway congratulations on saying you danced with Prince. And sung. Wasn't like a bad X Factor audition was it (are there any good ones!?)? And I don't include the Twins' Guitar-Leg-Thingy-Dance when I say they are a bit rubbish. Or those moments when I could see their oojeymaflips in those tight hot pants. Yummy. | |
