Fave unreleased track

I used to visit/post here a lot but haven't done for a while. It always used to bore me that people would show their immense knowledge of songs which I as a huge fan had never really heard of let alone heard. Now things are easier to get hold of I wonder what your favourite track of all those which haven't been officially released is. For me it will always be Empty Room, a classic and worldwide hit in my opinion. Criminally left unreleased

y'know, i found it funny that when Prince first started performing "Empty Room" live that he didn't seem the least bit surprised by all the people singing along to it and the reaction it got -- in fact, he seemed quite pleased!

lately, i've been listening a lot to "All My Dreams" and that whole era
i love that song like i love my pillow

a personal fav of mine is "The Grand Progression"
the vibe of that song always give me warm-fuzzy goosebumps

i also dig most anything from "Purple Music" to "Electric Intercourse" (1982-1983)

Well, for starters - NOT THIS THREAD AGAIN

Also, Empty Room was 'officially' released, as a download, as part of 'C=NOTE'.

But, anyway, the usual stuff - moonbeam levels, Train, whatever, I'm sure there are about a thousand threads on this stuff. The mid-80s stuff is best.

extraloveable is great

but id say one of my true favs is 'van gogh'..a true masterpiece, great quality, shocking it was never released.

The far superior, sensual '86 version of We Can Funk which I found in absolutely amazing sound quality recently and fell in love with again.
