With the exception of one it smells like elevator music modern jazz crap or neutered versions of the songs.

im sure iv heard that korn will be covering a prince song on their next cd, think it was erotic city; if so, that would be ace. [Edited 1/23/08 11:49am] Wouldn't you love to love me?

lol..tho korn did do a terrible job of pink floyds another brick in the wall; they usually are amazing..their last cd was astonishingly diffirent to anything theyve ever done..barely recognizeable at times, but in a good way; a more matured band. Wouldn't you love to love me?

bland repetitive sound, cookie monster vocals, posing, "numetal" bs I can't cosign that.

1. 'She's Always In My Hair' - D'Angelo
9. 'Sexy Dancer' - 7 Hurtz & Peaches I already have these two which are by the most popular artists on the disc. Except for Soulwax, I haven't heard of any of the others. Not interested. And Feist is a guest vocalist on the "Sexy Dancer" cover btw.

Wouldn't you love to love me?

I just got this as well. Its terrible. A few of the tracks were released on a tribute a few years back in the UK I believe. Which was a much better compilation. There were some great tracks on there, unfortunately they didnt choose them for this. The Purple Rain cover is downright horrendous.

since i already have d'angelo's version i'll pass man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
