Prince/3AM

NOT that there's anything we didn't know already but Prince is mentioned in today's '3AM' gossip column, in The Mirror newspaper (UK):

'Weeny weird one Prince has spent the past few months recording hundreds of songs that might never see the light of day. A pal said "He told me has 50 albums of material in his house in Minnesota. He knows most of it will never be released, but he desperately wants to try to get some of it out to his"'.

The cheeky mares finish by saying 'Too much time on his hands, if you ask us'!!!

Sorry - that should have read 'desperately wants to get some of it out to his fans'.

At this year's Xenophobia, someone asked Femi Jiya if the Vault was in Paisley Park. Femi just gave a wry smile and said "Who's to say that there's just ONE Vault?". I wonder whether Prince has his own secret stash (sp?) at his own home...?

Bring on 'Xenophobia'!!!

Cheeky mares!!! These people are notorious for making up stuff based on rumour told to them third hand and then claiming it is fact or reliable because:

1.they attended an event where it happened (even though they did not).
2.their source is an insider (which it invariably is not)

The people who have time on their hands are the 3am girls because they usually have no new stuff to write about, rehashing and exaggerating either old stuff on file (e.g. prince has loads of recorded material), or even recycling stories several days later from rival newspapers, having the gall to claim they were present at events when they were absent . They are the laughing stock of their peers, so I wouldn't pay much attention to their joke of a column.

Incidentally, people who attended the first Celebration were advised in 2000 that Prince does not keep all of his recordings in the Vault at Paisley.
