This might sound like an odd choice but for some reason, the Ballad of Dorothy Parker has always felt extremely feminine to me. Not the Character of Dorothy but Prince himself. I have never felt a male vibe from that song. I have always imagined Prince makeuped out, lotioned up, dressed in the most frilly outfit being seduced by a masculinely dominant woman. The vocals of the song feel very female to me as well, not so much that he sings at any point in falsetto but just the fluidity of it. Womanly.
