PrintableAverage. I see how his multi-talents could maybe have been interpreted this way, I guess. However, I believe that he is actually the antithesis of average. How many people out there are able to conquer all the instruments he has? How many people out there have been able to conjure up emotion and atmosphere the way he has through his music? Jack of all trades? I think he is far, far more than a simple jack. He is extrodinarily gifted and talented. My opinion. | |

You are not going to find too many professional music critics who will disagree with my statement. You will find plenty who think R Kelly sucks as singer and most of the people on your list ride off of Prince. He is not the best singer (Luther,Marvin Gaye,R kelly) He is not the best dancer (michael,hammer,usher) He is not the best producer (jam&lewis,Quincy jones,Dr Dre,Pharell) He is not the most attractive (Me,Jesse Johnson,lenny Kravitz) so explain to me how people on here to be THE best....to me he is the best at being good at all these...but not the best! To each his/her own. Maybe you don't think he's the best at these things but someone might disagree with you. I agree that Stevie's a great songwriter and I enjoy his music but I enjoy Prince's more. Not because it's better, it just appeals to me more than anyone else's.
