Wow, This movie was great. I think Prince is a skillful actor. He should get into acting but I'm not sure he will after his 2nd flop gb.

I own this movie, and it's definately a classic.
I could watch it over and over again and could never get bored with it. The same for graffiti bridge. =] Let's go down 2 the holy river,

This bit is amazing! So stylised!!! The way everyone walks out of the scene leaving Prince alone, doing the stares....giving her "the eyes" Good hair, amazing curl, and the outfit....Damn!!!!! I love this film. All my non-Prince friends who watch it also like it. They see it for what it is is. A good clean fun fantasy with cool music and a fierce wardrobe!!!!. I recently just saw it for the first time too. And I was surprised how funny it was. I've only seen Purple Rain before and didn't expect Prince and Jerome to be comical. It was totally different. | |

Really weird to see some of those film stills in colour.
It was shot in colour wasnt it and then put into B/W Always wanted to watch it in colour, it wouldnt be the same of course, but very curious all the same. 3121 | |

Probably. When I was younger I'm sure I saw parts of Purple Rain of him and Appolonia rolling and making out in the hay. And a part where Appolonia Six is rehearsing and you see Appolonia in a phonebooth arguing with Prince in Spanish. I've never seen this in my movie and the ones on tv! I'm going to undust Under the Cherry Moon and watch it after 10-12 years.  What a good idea!! | |

Watched this yesterday and forgot how much I love it. Brilliant film. I love the bit where Tricky is looking after the ladder and walks round the corner and sees the bodyguards coming, turns to the camera and goes "SHITTTT!" classic
Just done the Wrecka Stow thing to my mum. Her reaction was just like Mary Sharons haha I got more hits than Madonna's got kids! | |
