Can somebody please give me info on THE 12" SINGLES? I'm looking to get these on vinyl; i heard they sound great.

i also believe there's this thing called the internet, and supposedly (i don't know, i've never tried) you go to a "search" site like, oh, "gurgle"? "girggle"? "gooooogole"? i don't know. but i've heard from someone once that you put what you are looking for in this little window on the site and push "search" and some sort of witchcraft happens and all these results appear. it's too hard for me to attempt, but i bet you could do it!

SUPPOSEDLY there is also a link to other prince sites somewhere on this site, or maybe on "horsekwak" or "housecrack" or whatever it's called... the internet is too scary for me to use. good luck! [Flame snip - luv4u] | |

how many have been released? are the 45's inferior? 12inch singles are definetly better than the 45s only cause the 45s dont include the extended versions, and in most cases the extended versions sound almost completely different, examples: 1999/little red corvette and raspberry beret are completetly different, im not sure if the 12inches are better quality but cause theyr different they sound a hole lot better any way ..... ramble ramble | |

I have a few 12" singles and I do not think that the 45's are inferior, as far as the enjoyment of playing a turntable goes...I just have to wait till I get another record player...mine bit the dust in a move. (That last line sounds like a song in the making..) Here we are in this big ole' empty room, starin' eachother down.

Unless I'm mistaken, 45s don't contain the extended versions of songs. (I'm assuming by 12" you mean the extended versions.)
