do you feel obligated to listen to a prince song on the radio?

you've got the song on your pc, your ipod, your mixed cd-r..you even skip it when you don't feel like hearing it...and yet...when you hear a prince song on the radio..rare as this may be...do you turn it up or turn the station?

I don't. Cuz any Prince song they would probably play, I've more than likely heard it a million times. So no.

Honestly.....Yes.

Even if i've heard it a million times and dont listen to it on cd, when it comes on the radio especially outside I "have" to listen to it!

I don't feel obligated, but whenever I hear a Prince song on the radio I get as exited, as if I would listen to it for the first time. I get mad if they don't play the song in its entirety and start talking half-way through. Especially since it doesn't happen very often, to hear a Prince song on the radio these days. lol

i'm kinda the same way. they usually play kiss, when doves cry, or purple rain. which i've heard millions of times but because it's my boy i have to listen. i don't really listen to the radio anymore, though. since i got a car with a cd player now. all i usually bump though is p or that new jay-z album which is fire!

When the radio keeps me company...I let it play....After I tire of the programs sequence or something...I play cd's and Prince is usually one of five.

Not only do I listen but everyone else around me. I always say when there's a Prince song on the radio:

'Now listen, this is what's called MUSIC.'

I'm the same way. I still stop what I'm doing to hear the song. If I'm in my car, I turn the sucker up and get mad excited. It's a force of habit.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

No. It's usually one that they have played the hell out of until I'm sick of hearing it. I don't turn the channel though because there isn't another decent radio station in my area. The rest of the R&B stations are all shit hop.

Well, I don't listen to his music like that so I get excited when it comes on the radio or internet...I honestly hate the song "Purple Rain" I always turn the station when I hear it...Last year, this Zydeco group played Purple Rain and I got shivers down my spine b/c I never heard anyone else sing it before and since then, I tolorate with this group's music... cool

I'm not obligated to listen to it but I do. Heaven help my passengers! I always sing along (off key, off rhythm, wrong words)

Prince songs on the radio haven't been common place since 80's. So Payolla is still in style. Ain't that a bitch.
