3121: the musicology of Planet Earth

I bet its done before on here, but how about selecting a 'best of' the last three albums?

IMO my Musicology, 3121 and Planet Earth, are decent albums, but not especially GREAT. I think that when you combine the best tracks of the last 3 albums you could come up with an album thats is on par with his last great 'regular' album: The Gold Experience (sorry folks, the Rainbow Children doesn't work for me...).

So here is the goal: combine the best tracks from the 3 albums upto the length of a single CD (75 minutes of music).

Here is my list:

1. Musicology
2. Black Sweat
3. Guitar
4. Somewhere here on earth
5. The One U wanna C
6. All the Midnights in the world
7. Chelsea Rodgers
8. Call my name
9. Fury
10. Love
11. On the Couch
12. Resolution
13. The Dance
14. Get on the Boat
15. Reflection

Not bad...

Personally, I think PE is good as is, so I wouldn't mix it with any of the other albums.

When I got bored with the other two, I've mixed them together once or twice... and that does work pretty well.

If it were me, I'd leave PE out of the mix.
But that's just my opinion cool

for me, i'd probably rather do 2 discs, 10-tracks or 45 minutes each.

one of the pop & rock stuff.

one of the sould/funk/r&B stuff.

and if i felt like i could devote one iota of interest in Prince at the moment, i'd come up with tracklists for you.

That is an EXCELLENT SET! Although I LOVE ALL 3 albums as is, this is a nice and sa-weet 2 disc compilation epsecially with the extra singles.

That's the idea. But Life O' The Party wouldn't be found within 100 miles of my own personal set. Lolita better get her ass out of there too lol

But yeah, that's the idea.
