1. Ohh Yeaaa PFUnk Is fantastic, it has so much energy which i have missed from a prince track for years and years...

2. Ermm This a hard one, but I reckon so...He hasn't really made anything this funky in years!

I REALLY enjoy the track, however there was something familiar about the verse vocal line that was driving me nuts. I couldn't remember what the song reminded me of, or even if it was another Prince song. Finally after singing it to myself (yeah, I had to), it came to me.

It's very close to Nasty Girl, so much so that I loaded both tracks into Acid and was able to get a loop of Nasty Girl to fit into the verse of PFUnk, and now I like it even more. The first line in PFUnk about "trying to ruin my day" matches with "don't wanna tell you my name" in Nasty Girl both in rhythm and melody. The Nasty Girl was just a 12 bar loop of the music, including the chords on the chorus.

I hear other portions of the two songs that match, and even though I had to transpose Nasty Girl to fit the key of PFUnk, I had a moment where it seemed they fit together TOO well. Hmmmm....

PFUnk is excellant, I love it too, and a welcome back to Camille.
Not sure about the best in 3 years though, there are 1 or 2 tracks on Planet Earth i like better at the moment....but that could change soon

Yes... it's pretty good actually....

1. Yes, a pretty decent song though probably not memorable

2. No, a few tracks on "3121" are better and even a couple on "Planet Earth'.

im surprised so many people this song. mnormally on here everyne says hes musics rubbish now.

anyway, i love the song. reminds me of his 1987-88 period
