The Pirate Bay is the type of website that Prince will want to put out of business. The only problem is that they have a rather unique way of dealing with cease and desist notices.

You know, the more I read about Prince's actions, the more I beginning to not like him at all. I sounmds like he's obsessed and logic is slipping from his control. Web sheriff have had a run in with Pirate Bay before over the white stripes and were told:
"You also have the right to institute sodomizing of yourself. Rather, they act like a cataloguer or co-ordinator, indexing files offered for sharing rather than themselves offering any such material. The data thus shared is called metadata - that is, data about data. The system performing the indexing is called a tracker. A typical Pirate Bay file provides a filename, a location it can be downloaded from, and various checksums which can be used to verify the file's integrity when downloaded. It does not, itself, contain any media material, whether legal or otherwise." Another diversion tactic to try and conflate the Prince Fans United issue with The Pirate Bay issue! Now people are going to think the Org, HQ & PrinceFams are the same type of site as The Pirate Bay. (Which btw, I had never heard of The Pirate Bay until Prince got all uptight about them. I'm guessing this will increase their business. )
This Websheriff v. Pirate Bay is gonna be fun to watch. Pirate Bay is very outspoken when it comes to responding to Websheriff. Check out their first response: "Yesterday we got informed that The artist formerly known as The artist formerly known as Prince is going to sue us. Using web sheriff! Good news, maybe we get some updates for the legal threats page. And good luck Mr Son of a King, you probably just lost a lot of your fans."
If Prince would stop this nonsense against the fansites, I'd have no problem supporting him in this situation. But until that happens, I'm rooting for The Pirate Bay out of spite and the fact that I think Websheriff is an incompentent, money-hungry, jackass who is using Prince to line his pockets. . In their response to the Web Sheriff, The Pirate Bay's closing line made me laugh:
