I used to love that shit because of that funky ass music playing, in the background.

The music turned out to be an unreleased song "Dream Factory".

That version was slightly different because Prince had a studio effect on it where they played it loud and soft(during the interlude/beating up of the DJ), which made it sound really cool!

At first when I read sounded as if there was an altercation, but when I read again, didn't read that way -- Sonny was messing with Jules' turntables?

Don't understand how/why the glasses got broke, but a laugh at the $150 price tag - would certainly be more now (this was funny to me).

The girls are self-explanatory - they were introduced later.

And then references to Sonny's possible use of mood-altering substance?

So I guess not much question unless I'm getting all of this wrong.
