i don't feel like the words in the song have effectively "put us in our place", answered any questions, or shed any insight into what's going on. it reminds me of a muhammad ali novelty single from the 70s - funky, catchy, but nothing but a bunch of empty bravado and hubris. i think the song itself is harmless. he's thumbing his nose at us, and being silly. i think it's entertaining. i hope it's a sign of confidence that he actually DOES know what he's doing and that some kind of successful closure is on the way. but maybe not. we all know the man is snack cake short of a full box of ho-hos. | |
