closest I've come to meeting him was with some fellow orgers Ellie and Mel at the gate after his last O2 aftershow and he just walked past us and ran his hand along the gate along ours, said nowt and got into his car. He looked happy as people were clapping and shouting 'cheers' and 'thanks'

Yep, I met him in London on the 14th August. I'm not gonna tell the story again for the millionth time though, lol. Prince is cool as hell and you can really feel his aura when talking to him.

I was at a meeting with him 3 chairs down but he left before i could talk to him. Does anyone know how long he is in London for? I 'm guessing he will stay to see Maceo in concert on the 22nd of this month. Does anyone know a contact for Prince's pa/agent or where i can write to him?

I have spent a whole day/evening with him at paisley..It was interesting to say the least..I WILL say that he came off the pedestal I had him on for so many years after actually talking to him and seeing his "world" close up..It took me about 2 years to get fully into him again after that experience..Lets just say...A Lot of the things that you "hear" about him are false..but A Lot of them are true as well..and When you are confronted with it in a 1 on 1 situation..It can alter your perception about a few things...And make you realize that being a STAR aint all its cracked up to be

I have met PRINCE twice.

Once in Miami at Glam Slam and Once in LA. He was very polite, cool and pleasant.

I have also met Eric Leads, Candy, Sonny T., Tommy B, Ronda Smith, Maceo Parker and Morris Hayes...ALL WERE GREAT!

Met Prince during the Nude tour(UK)went to an aftershow party in Wall st.. got to dance next to the great man!..one of the best moments of my life!!

i actually wouldnt like to meet any of the people i look up too, and that includes prince. i think when you idolise some one (maybe idolise is too strong a word for some) you build up a certain hope of what they would be like if you met them.... then if you met them and they were nothing like you had percieved them to be.... wouldnt that just shatter all your dreams? it would mine!!!!! some people are best left admired from afar!!!!

besides which..... if i was to be put in a situation where i met prince, my mouth would be so dry, my top lip would get stuck to my gum so i wouldnt be able to talk, id probably perspire so much 'sure' deodrant would want me as their advertising campaign, tena lady would be sending me free packages every month as biggest user of their incontinent pads, and if i was in a situation where i had to eat with prince..... then it would all be over as i would have to run to the loo every mouthful of food to spit it out for fear of choking myself to death.. either that or bend down and spit it into my very large bag i just bought from the fab primark!!

I have been fortunate enough 2 win a meet&greet in a radio contest in 1998. August 18th a friend and I was guided backstage at Valbyhallen - a concert venue in Copenhagen. We were taken to a room coated with Prince posters (the NPS poster). After a short while Prince, Larry Graham and Tina (Larrys wife) entered the room. Prince said hello to all - shook hands and invited us all to the aftershow later that nite at Vega (a smaller venue in Cph). I've never really been eager to meet or talk 2 him - however it was awesomely cool 2 meet him - c him up close. He's gorgeous - his eyes are absolutely stunning. He seems cool, kind...and unique. All in all an amazin exp for me
