That's true. I'm not saying people don't have the right to express how they feel on a public forum, positive or negative, but at least have some common decency and respect. If Prince requests that you don't post pics of his shows on these sites, just don't post them, that's all, what's so hard about following that request,and no it's not about being a sheep, so to speak. moderatorI don't think that Prince is a terrible human being at all. However, I do think that he is a serious, serious control freak who wants to control everything around him, especially the world's perception of him, from what's written to what photos are "allowed" to be seen. Remember Mayte's account of how she was never allowed to call him, and that she had to wait for him to contact her? That's a sign of a man with some serious issues. But then again, don't we all have issues? Prince's are magnified because he's in the public eye. | |

Is Prince a terrible, untrustworthy human being - or - is there a level of miscommunication somewhere? What's your opinion? Seriously, lets have one thread with an open discussion about it. I dont think he is a terrible person. I think he is a smart business man. Look at all the hoopla surrounding music and music leaks these days. In a money hungry business, who can u trust? Besides, no 1 is going 2 respect and passion his talent , more than he-himself. But I feel u on the fan aspect. I wish there was a way 2 communicate with the man or at least feel more connected as a fan. I mean we r not just an average listener to "hot" Prince songs. We are fans! ( I am anyways).. There was a rap/hiphop artist who allowed his fans to call him and leave personal voice messages and he would call you back and all who had the number and were connected, got to hear his personal msgs. He would call after concerts, or just leave his fans a msg while on tour, after parties, or call to give u the scoop on when to look out for his next track being released. It was a really great set up. It was a more intimate connection with fans. The artisit had to discontinue the voice mail, but while it worked, it really worked. It was great! Now, could I ever in my wildest dreams picture Prince doing this? NO. He's such a mystery, but again that is one of the biggest things that I like about him | |

Princes team ask Requests housequake to remove concert pics. Housequake says sure if we can have something in return for example return of the video forum or maybe some official o2 pictures. princes team says no. housequake then refuses to move or stop hosting the pictures on the site princes team then says ok then remove princes image from your banners/wallpapers then princes team decides to appeal straight to housequake members by posting a thread asking fans to respect princes wishes. housequake dont like that, now in their sign up terms you cant register if you work or affiliated with prince/npgmc/3121 or anyone associated with prince. My opinion is and it wont change, housequake wants to be the official prince site, i mean some people say hes a control freak and wants to control housequake and other fan sites. where will the line be drawn with housequake... first: video forum second: official concert photo's third: downloading of his music like i said in another thread, have the people forgotten over their that he has gave them things like pics of the musicology tour and a disc to offer in a competition for its members, but when they dont get what they want they throw a wobbler like school kids miss miss prince is bullying me. Their a disgrace call themselves fans, with housequake its all about them in a bubble and you only become part of that community if you kiss ass and agree with them. anyway rant over now come on quakers you can kill me now.
