For those of us who have been multiple nights of the concerts, or bought one too many copies of the Mail On Sunday, what are you doing with your CDs? I've got something like 14 now, and friends I took to the show didn't want theirs as they got it free with the paper beforehand.

I've decided that I going to make a statement about the current music industry by sealing 8 of them persex to use as coasters on my coffee table. Big name albums have now become disposal coffee table music! In effect, I'm going to change them from music to art.

That still means I'm going to to have about another 20 left over by the end of the tour! What Can I do with them?

PS - Am I the only one who thinks its totally hypocritical that Prince's environmental statement album has probably used up more greenhouse gasses and trees than any album before it????

I'm hoping 1 day they may became sought after. If he never does release it in the UK and the only chance you could have got is was the Mail on Sunday or at the concert maybe demand will one day outstrip supply???

Like the coaster idea though!!!

I believe cd's can be recycled like most products,
It's up to the individual to ask their local plant.

I shall be giving them out to all my friends (non P fans) and convert them *evil laugh*

Either a matching set of placemats, or they are going in Christmas cards to overseas friends in a 'I'm a cheap bastard' exercise.

I'm going to sell mine on online auction sites in the hope of making a packet. It's about time I got a break like this one!

I'm just going to keep mine and if I get into a discussion with a non-fan in the future I'll just send them a copy. We've been very lucky in the UK - other folks have to buy their copies.

I have given away 3 copies of the album to family and friends.
I also bought a copy from Play.com, which came in a gatefold type sleeve.
With a hologram on the cover.

Keeping that one on the shelf!!
