I didn't mind the ones in the Symbol album, but they were a bit irritating in Gold Experience and made Exodus un-listenable

I see TGE as a journey or experience (duh?),so the segues fit well...
Same w/TRC.....they work well with 'concept' albums....but
to have segues for the hell of it....dont like em'

If you need a segue to connect one track to another to try and convey some sort of message, then you need to work on your tracks more.
