Record stores scramble to stock Planet Earth !

As this Sunday approaches Prince's decision to give his album away is still causing waves of unrest among record retailers in the UK !!

HMV have done a U-turn despite condoning Prince's decision and struck a deal with Daily Mail to stock the newspaper on Sunday amidst worries this could become a trend and spell the demise of the record store. This is very good marketing for Prince I said once before now that Virgin and HMV are fighting Prince's name will remain in the spotlight!!!

I don't understand why you feel that this distribution scheme somehow devalues the music to "about [a] buck." So explain it to me this way: I paid $7 for Purple Rain when it came out. What is its worth based on your value scale?

Remember that’s your opinion and u know what they say about opinions. Opinions r like asses, everyone has one. From what I’ve heard so far, I’m loving PE already, and can’t wait 2 get my copy on release day lol
