Im purposely not going near any PE tracks till i get the cd

To make this release actually mean a little something to me, Im staying away from any clips,downloads,streaming audio etc.... I havent listened to the new GUITAR version yet. As i look back on most of the Prince releases since 1994 i pretty much have heard 90% of the album before it came out, and then actually getting the cd really meant almost nothing. As i usually do with a new release from an artist that i really follow, i tend to get the cd at a mom and pop store usually the Thursday or Friday before its tuesday release depending when they get it, usually its the Friday here in NYC. And then i take the whole weekend and just listen to the album, ignore reviews and peoples "takes" on it, and then after i get a good 15-20 listens in then i start to look at what people say, well sort of. Now im not trying to preach against "leaks" im just saying as a fan of certain artists, i need to have the whole package and just get into it myself. I mean i think back to albums like COME and the Gold Experience and I had them and played them almost a year before they were even out, even alot of the Emancipation tracks i had early in 96.

i'll be listened ASAP as it leaks

I have heard 3 tracks so far. I don't plan on listening to anymore PE tracks until the album is released.

well it's leaked on the internet, but I'm not gonna listen to it till I have artwork and best sound quality. I did the same for McCartney's new album.

i've been listening to them all constantly... just like i knew i would. i haven't listened to Guitar and The One U Wanna C that much but FBM and Somewhere Here on Earth have me addicted..
